Between the team here at McDonald Automotive, we have over 75 years of Land Rover, Range Rover and 4×4 knowledge and experience. The business has been in the same ownership for nearly 20 years and we take pride in our levels of returning customers and recommendations. From repairs and diagnostics, to mapping and MOTs, and buying and selling vehicles, we keep ahead of innovations and technology, combining this with a passion for old-fashioned customer service. Our belief in keeping our customers happy is what makes us successful. We offer efficient and reliable customer service and make sure we’re always available to answer your call. We have a team of 7 expert mechanics in our workshop, with a particular specialism in Land Rovers, but who enjoy tackling any problem on any vehicle they are faced with.
Since beginning as a specialist Parts Shop in 2002, we have expanded to include the Workshop: the team has also grown to embrace both the demand and the new technology available to repair and improve any 4×4 vehicle we see. On a daily basis we deal with servicing, MOTs for vehicles up to 5 tonnes, as well as diagnostics, refurbishments, and ECU remapping. And we still send out a huge array of parts for all types of Land and Range Rover models. We take considerable time talking to customers to find out their exact vehicle needs, whether it be Sales, Parts, or the Workshop team. Our ethos is to keep our clients fully informed, whatever it is that we are doing for them.
We are a family-owned business with a close-knit team, who are all locally based. The importance of getting to know our customers has always been key to how we approach our business – and we will never “surprise” you with a bill or do any extra work without talking to you first.
