Welcome to our first blog on our new website
It has been – to use an over-used phrase – quite a journey. Our business has been going for almost 20 years now and, whilst we’ve been keeping up with technology and the developments in our industry, we’ve been aware that our website doesn’t reflect how far we’ve come. So, we’ve taken a deep breath, and overhauled our digital presence.
As far as our on-line presence goes, we want our customers to have the same experience from our website as they do when they come in to see us – by being both informative and friendly. We hope you like what we’ve done: feel free to share it with friends, family and colleagues.
We have introduced our “Refer a Friend” scheme so that if you enjoy the experience and end results from McDonald Automotive, and share our details with a friend who then books into our workshop, your next MOT is on us!

Not only has our range of services grown since we started, but our team has also expanded to add not just manpower, but expertise: in addition to our MOTs and Servicing, and Land Rover expertise, we can also offer ECU Remapping, Gearbox flushing, Laser Four Wheel Alignment, and AirCon servicing just to name a few things.
In the meantime, we’re getting ready for Oswestry Show on 3rd August: the team will all be looking forward to seeing what the day brings. Hopefully, not torrential rain…
